tennessee (BB-43) division

U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps

Test your limits

The mission of BB43 is to introduce youth ages 10 - 17 to the sea-going military services and U.S. naval operations and training while developing in them a sense of personal and corporate pride, patriotism, courage, teamwork, accountability, and self-reliance. Our vision is to provide an organization that trains our youth to become the servant leaders of tomorrow; confident in their abilities to lead and mentor, and never hesitant to help others in need. The core values of our program are Honor, Courage, and Commitment.

Our unit conducts drill one weekend per month from 0730 (7:30 am) - 1600 (4 pm) on SAT and SUN in Millington, TN, and our cadets also attend additional trainings over summer and/or winter breaks. Cadets must maintain 75% attendance and advance in rank each year through physical challenges, academic coursework, and annual training evolutions outside of the local unit.
