Welcome to Recruit Training in Tennessee! We are looking forward to having 100 recruits attend training this year. Recruit check-in will be held Sunday 08 June 2007 from 0800-1400. No recruits will be checked in prior to this date and time. Once recruits are in the check-in area they will not be allowed to leave. It is suggested that you ensure your cadets are fed prior to arrival at the check-in site or bring a bag lunch. Lunch will
NOT be provided to recruits on check-in day.
Graduation: Graduation is on Saturday 23 June 2007 beginning promptly at
0900 (9:00 a.m.) and should last no longer than one hour. Family and friends are invited to attend. Please RSVP with the XOTC in order to arrange access to the base. XOTC@tnbb43.org.

Seabag Inspection: Recruits' sea bags will be inspected immediately upon arrival at their respective barracks. If any recruit is missing required uniform/clothing items/equipment, the parent or escort will have to purchase those items before the recruit can be checked in. Check the seabag list and seabag
before you leave home.
Medical Condition Verification: All cadets' medical and physical condition will be verified upon arrival in order to ensure they have their medical examination forms completed, health insurance information, standard release form, and are in satisfactory medical condition.
Adult Escorts & Drivers: Adult escorts are required to remain in the check-in area until each of their recruits have been found to be medically fit, service records complete including fees, and have completed their sea bag inspection. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Physical Readiness Test: All NSCC recruits' physical readiness condition will be tested within 24 hours of arrival. NSCC Recruits MUST pass the Physical Readiness Test prior to graduation day or they cannot receive their graduation certificate, or credit for Recruit Training. Additionally, recruits who report for RTC who are substantially short of qualifying in accordance with the Physical Readiness Standards will be reviewed by medical personnel for acceptance to participate at RTC.
Location: Training will be conducted at the
Army National Guard Training Center, located at 325 Arsenal Lane, Milan, Tennessee. You can obtain specific area maps via the web through Map Quest, Yahoo Maps, or your local AAA.
Check In: Check-in is at our Administrative Office, which will be clearly marked.
PT Shirt/Ballcap: One ballcap and PT shirt will be issued to each cadet, please send your t-shirt size to SO@tnbb43.org. Sizes available are Adult S, M, L, XL, and XXL. Size requirements must be submitted NLT 5 Jun 07 or you will be issued Adult Large.
